Custom LLM: Bring Your OpenAI API Key

You can now power your D-ID Agents with your own OpenAI account by connecting an OpenAI API key. We added Custom LLM support so your agents can run on the OpenAI models and configurations you already trust, while giving you direct control over latency (streaming) and context (history length) for better performance and predictability.

What you can do now

• Connect directly to OpenAI using your own API key

• Choose any supported model, including your preferred variants and fine-tuned models

• Enable streaming for faster, lower-latency responses

• Control how much conversation history is sent with each request
