What is D-ID’s enterprise AI platform?
D-ID is an enterprise platform for AI video and interactive digital humans. It brings together AI avatar agents, realistic AI avatars, Agentic Videos, enterprise AI videos and APIs, so organizations can run pre-recorded content and real-time conversations on one platform.
What is an AI avatar agent?
An AI avatar agent is a digital human that holds real-time conversations by voice or chat. It answers from the knowledge you give it, such as your documents and website, and can take actions through tools you connect. You can put it on your website, in your apps and in your learning platform.
What is an Agentic Video?
An Agentic Video is a video that viewers can interrupt and ask questions of. A real-time AI agent answers inside the same video player. Teams create the video in D-ID, for example from a script or existing slides, and publish it in the languages their audiences speak.
How should an enterprise evaluate AI avatars for business?
Start with the use case and the people it serves. Then check whether the avatar answers from your own knowledge, how it connects to your systems, the vendor’s certifications and data processing terms, the consent and disclosure rules for synthetic media, and the support for a pilot and rollout. Also compare how natural the avatars look and sound: D-ID agents and videos use V4 Expressive Avatars, its current avatar model. A D-ID demo walks through each point.
How is D-ID different from other enterprise AI video platforms?
D-ID covers more than video creation. Organizations can create avatar-led videos, turn them into interactive Agentic Videos and deploy real-time AI avatar agents that answer questions and complete tasks, using the same avatars, knowledge and API.
How does D-ID support enterprise security and governance?
D-ID holds SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, ISO 27799 and ISO 42001 certifications. Enterprise controls include SSO, role-based access, audit logs and content safeguards. Details are in the D-ID Trust Center.
Where is our data processed, and is D-ID GDPR compliant?
D-ID is GDPR compliant and provides a Data Processing Agreement. Data is currently processed on infrastructure in the United States. EU hosting is on the roadmap and is not live today. If conversation data must stay in your own environment or region, the real-time avatars can be self-hosted in your own cloud.
How does D-ID handle consent and synthetic media?
Avatars are created with consent, and voice cloning requires explicit voice consent. Synthetic content is marked as synthetic, and customer contracts include ethical-use clauses that exclude deceptive uses such as fake news.
Can we use our own avatar, voice and logo?
Yes. Enterprise plans include a custom number of Personal Avatars and Studio Avatars, so someone from your organization can present your videos and agents. You can clone a voice, add your custom logo, and set backgrounds and media to match your brand. Avatars and voice clones need the consent of the person they are based on. Content made with D-ID stays marked as AI-generated: on Enterprise plans the watermark can be customized, not removed.
Can D-ID integrate with our existing systems?
Yes. D-ID provides REST APIs and SDKs for adding AI video, avatars and AI avatar agents to websites, apps and custom workflows. AI avatar agents can connect to language models, knowledge bases, APIs and CRM systems.
Can D-ID scale across global organizations?
Yes. D-ID supports more than 120 languages and is built for deployments across teams, markets and use cases. The same API-first platform handles both video generation and real-time conversations.
What deployment options are available?
D-ID runs as a cloud platform with APIs. For real-time AI avatar agents there is also a self-hosted option: the avatars run in your own cloud on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, inside your network, so conversation data stays in your environment. D-ID forward-deployed engineers help set it up. Video generation and D-ID Studio run on the D-ID cloud.
How is enterprise pricing structured?
Enterprise plans are priced individually, based on your volume, use cases and deployment needs. Book a demo and the D-ID team will prepare a quote.
How does D-ID support enterprise implementation?
Enterprise customers get a dedicated Customer Success Manager and integration support from the D-ID team. For self-hosted deployments, D-ID forward-deployed engineers help with the setup. The team works with your business and technical teams on use-case design, integrations and rollout.
