“D-ID wants to significantly improve the chatbot experience by offering real-time conversations with digital humans,” Forbes writer Gil Press wrote about the launch of D-ID’s new live streaming capability.

The report notes that Gartner predicts that half of B2B buyers will interact with a digital human in the buying cycle by 2026. As labor expenses represent up to 95% of contact center costs, and given the prevailing labor shortages and tight labor market, companies worldwide are increasing their investment in chatbots. Gartner predicts that by 2027, chatbots will become the primary customer service channel for roughly a quarter of organizations.
