FEBRUARY 15, 2022, Tel Aviv, Israel – D-ID, a world leader in AI-driven creative media, was selected as a winner in the 2021 Digiday Marketing and Advertising Awards Europe, recognizing the companies who turned to the primary pillars of audience
engagement even as the approach to purchasing products and services during the pandemic continued to evolve.
D-ID was named a winner in the Best Use of AI category for the company’s Live Portrait technology, which powers the viral Deep Nostalgia feature from family history company MyHeritage. D-ID’s proprietary deep learning technology brings still photos to life, transcending the barrier between image and video and achieving an unprecedented level of photorealism.
“Thank you Digiday for recognizing the disruptive nature of D-ID and our technology, which is paving the way for a new era of content creation and audience engagement. We are proud of the tremendous impact Deep Nostalgia has made, and this award brings true validation to that achievement,” said Gil Perry, CEO and Co-founder of D-ID.
Along with D-ID, other winners of this year’s award include HSBC UK, LADbible, Thomson Reuters, Dove, and more. Winners were chosen for their creative strategies, which brought personalized and meaningful messages to the audiences they strove to reach.
D-ID’s AI-powered Live Portrait technology is transforming the way people interact with images. Following its success in genealogy, D-ID partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures, GoodTrust, Publicis and Mondelēz (formerly Kraft Foods), and The Glimpse Group (NASDAQ: VRAR). D-ID’s latest Creative Reality™ product, Speaking Portrait, uses a single image together with text or audio to create a realistic video of a human presenter.
