Webhooks Are Live: Agents Can Now Take Action
Webhooks are now available in D-ID Agents — the first release in our upcoming Agent Skills roadmap. With Phase 1, your agent can automatically send structured conversation data to any external endpoint, so workflows don’t stop at “a good chat.” They can continue into your systems.
What’s included in Phase 1

Configure a webhook endpoint for your agent

Automatically push structured chat data to your endpoint

Trigger automations in tools like Zapier or n8n, or route data into your own backend

Use it for practical outcomes like lead capture, ticket creation, CRM updates, and follow-up flows
How it works

Open D-ID Studio → Agents

Select your agent and go to Settings

Find Webhooks and paste your endpoint URL

Save and run a test conversation

Confirm your system receives the structured payload

Connect that payload to your workflow (CRM, automation tool, internal services)
Why this matters
Webhooks turn agents into a bridge between conversation and action — making it easier to operationalize outcomes (capture, route, update, trigger) from every interaction.
What’s coming next
Webhooks are the first building block. Next phases will expand Agent Skills with end-of-chat and during-chat tools — enabling agents to take richer actions at the right moment in the conversation.
